Chantilly, Virginia | Full-time
Looking to join an energetic, growing practice recognized for trend-setting design? Are you a skilled team leader who can contribute to all aspects of a residential architecture studio, helping to deepen its reputation for exceptional design?
You’ll be responsible for guiding a team of dynamic architects, directing projects from early stage conceptual design through construction. You’ll collaborate with experienced leaders and act as a mentor to others, nurturing those on your team to grow and push themselves to improve.
If you take joy in amazing clients throughout the design process, we have the platform to support you. You’ll foster strong relationships with existing clients and form lasting connections with new ones.
More About You…
You want to be around “go-getters” who, like you, are striving to grow professionally and personally. You want your voice heard and to make an impact. You value high-quality work and attention to detail. You are energetic, charismatic, and empathetic. You are a discoverer, always looking for ways to navigate unfamiliar territory. You prefer collaboration and creativity over rigid structure and micro-management.
You probably have five to ten years of experience in residential design. You might have demonstrated success managing projects from design through construction and fostering relationships with homeowners and real estate executives.
Your character is a tremendous asset and you have a technical pedigree to match. You probably are licensed in one or more states and have a professional degree in in Architecture from an accredited university. The tools of an architect are extremely familiar to you; both hand-drawing skills and a variety of software (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office).
If you fit the bill and share our aspirations, please submit a portfolio and cover letter (PDF format, 15MB MAX) illuminating your experience and goals to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Project Architect.” Qualified candidates will be scheduled for interviews but, regrettably, the volume of responses makes it impractical to contact every applicant. We look forward to speaking with you!
